Rob was born in Brisbane, Australia. He attended Aspley State High School from 1988 to 1991. While bored in class, he was known to perform on desks by singing, dancing and doing impersonations. However, he resisted the pleas of teachers to study Speech and Drama. Although being a promising footballer in his teens, at the conclusion of his schooling he resisted the urge to continue playing Rugby and instead deciding to move into the field of performing arts. 1995 he began studying acting at The Actors Workshop in Brisbane until 1997. In the years that have followed he has enjoyed success both in TV and Film. In 2001 he won the Best Actor Award at the Queensland New Filmmakers Award s for his role of Irving Hand in The Irving Hand Prophecy. Later that year played the leading role of Wayne in the Spierig Film/Lionsgate Films, Undead. He moved to Sydney late 2001and continued acting with roles in TV shows, All Saints (7 Network) and CNNN -The Chaser (ABC Network) in 2003. In 2006 he moved to the USA for 6 months to learn more about the film industry. In 2007 he returned to Australia and quietly married the beautiful and talented actress Carmel Savage. The two deciding to keep the secret until March 2010 when they finally celebrated their wedding in Thailand, with their family and friends. In 2008 he played the lead role of Orca, a hit man for hire in the soon to be released independent feature, Sharkmen (expected release early to mid 2011) He has also just signed on for a sequel. In 2009 he played the role of the 1950's Radio Programmer in No.8 Films Radio Pirates. In 2010 Rob accepted an offer to play the role of Bill in No.8 Films Frozen Moments. In September 2010 he signed a 2 picture deal with SlaughterFX to play the role of John Wilson a serial killer. Shooting of the first film is scheduled to begin in 2012. He has since been offered yet another role in a film that is based on a true story. (Due to confidentiality agreements the title cannot be disclosed at this time) However, this role is one Rob is looking forward to most as it gives him the opportunity to completely immerse himself in the role and leave all that is Rob at home. Over the past 15 years Rob has worked continuously in all areas of media including Voice-Over's, TV with more than 18 TV Commercial s to his name as well as roles in numerous TV shows including working with the late Heath Ledger. He has worked on Stage and in both Short and Feature length Films, with more than 30 short films to his name including his last role of Dean in the Short film, A 12 Step Program, which screened at the Dungog International Film Festival in May 2011.
In his pre-teen and teenage years, he went to school and played Rugby alongside dual international and current New Zealand All Black Rugby player Brad Thorn(Rugby League: Brisbane Broncos, Queensland, Australia. Rugby Union: Canterbury Crusaders, All Blacks)Invented the cocktail known as "Robbie-Bomb" (available at Barney's Beanery, West Hollywood, California).

Peaceful, rustic Berkeley is a charming fishing community where life is sweet and the people friendly. All that is about to change. After losing her childhood farm to the bank, local beauty Rene decides to leave town and head for the big city. Suddenly, an avalanche of meteorites races through the sky, bombarding the town and bringing an otherworldly infection. Departing is going to be much more difficult than she had planned. The living dead are awakened and Rene is now caught in a nightmare of zombies hungry for human flesh. She manages to find salvation in a small isolated farm house owned by the town loony, Marion.
